2. Darkness Visible -- by Styron. A powerful little book on dealing with depression.

4. John Knox: A Great Intercessor -- an inspiring little book full of power! by Bessie Olson
5. George Mueller: A Great Obtainer -- by R.A. Beltz. Similar to above.
6. Loving the Church, Blessing the Nations -- by George Miley
7. John Wesley: A Biography -- Stephen Tompkins (2003)
8. Heroes of the Holy Life-- Wesley Duewell. (Rev. Duewell sent me this book.)
9. Revival, God's Way -- Leonard Ravenhill
10. Following the River -- Bob Sorge A beautiful book on worship
11. In the Day of Thy Power -- Arthur Wallis. An inspiring book on revival.
12. Your Best Life Now! -- Joel Osteen. Postive and faith inspiring. Mr. Hagin meets Dr. Peale.
13. Practicing Resurrection -- Norah Gallagher. Good writer. Liberal theology.
14. The Lives of Brainard and Fletcher -- Oswald J. Smith
15. Mary, Queen of Scots (forgot to record author's name. good book, though)
16. Balcony People -- Joyce Landorf Heatherly. A little text on encouragement.
17. The Life and Death of Rev. Fletcher -- John Wesley
18. The Way to Pentecost -- Samuel Chadwick. Power! Excellent book on deeper life.
19. The Optimist's Daughter -- Eudora Welty
20. Preacher and Prayer -- E.M. Bounds
21. Pastor and People -- R.T. Williams
22. The Welsh Revival of 1904 -- Eifion Evans
23. A New Kind of Christian -- Brian McLaren. He stretches me.
24. The Abolition of Man -- C.S. Lewis. I found this a difficult read for Lewis.
25. Poems of Keats -- Keats Deep. Speaks to my soul.
26. Great Christians of the 18th Century (mostly British -- a great story about Grimshaw of Hayworth is in there.)
27. Pulpit Giants -- Donald Demary
28. Forgotten Saints -- Anna Talbot McPherson (great bio's of faith heroes)
29. Private Lives of Pastors' Wives-- Ruth A. Tucker. Insightful.
30. The Sawdust Trail: The Story of American Evangelicalism-- Gordon Hall
31. The Way of Holiness -- Samuel Brengle
32. The Broker -- John Grisham (just for fun!) I love Grisham novels.

34. Listening Point -- Sigurd Olson Naturalist, makes the northwoods come alive on the page.
35. Teach Us to Pray-- Andre Louf (reflections from the monastic life)
36. Sharing Good Times -- Jimmy Carter a fun book of his memories. I like his story about a soul-winning experience.
37. Breakout Churches -- Thom Rainer. Good to Great goes to Church. Excellent church growth research.

56. A Timbered Choir -- Wendell Berry. Kentucky poet, beautiful! inspiring!
57. Dinner with a Perfect Stranger-- David Gregory.
58. Blue Like Jazz -- Donald Miller. A bit too edgy for me -- but very insightful. good writer
59. The Emerging Church -- Don Kimball. A new approach to doing church.
60. Invitation to a Journey -- Robert Muholland. A fine spiritual formation text.
61. The Leadership Secrets of Billy Graham -- Myra. Portrays another side of this great evangelist -- the leadership aspect. Enlightening.
62. Revolution -- George Barna Troubling book by what seems to be a troubled soul.
63. Before You Build -- Couchenour. A handy text on church building projects.
64. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe -- C.S. Lewis. I read it to my kids before we went to the movie -- which was not disappointing!
65. The Double Cure -- Martin Wells Knapp, an old holiness text ( Toplady, the staunch Calvinist writer of "Rock of Ages", would be aghast if he knew a Wesleyan Armenian was co-opting his line!)
